Mission: The Able Kids Foundation is a research-based and solution-oriented nonprofit that partners with local, national, and international organizations to eliminate barriers and expand opportunities for individuals with disabilities.
In order to accomplish this mission, the Foundation provides education, research and outreach programs for individuals with disabilities. To date, our primary focus is on children and adults with various auditory challenges and our goals include:
- Education – provide information to individuals, organizations and corporations on alternatives and solutions for individuals with auditory disabilities that can enhance quality of life;
- Research – conduct and advance basic and applied research that focuses on assessment, management and technologies that will assist individuals with auditory disabilities;
- Outreach – develop and expand programs for children and adults with various challenges which includes placing state-of-the-art technologies into schools, hospitals, senior centers and public nonprofit facilities.
